It has been known for a while now that DT drummer Mike Portnoy is leaving.
But where can the rest of DT possibly find a drummer like him. Hopefully they will find someone of the same skill and creativity.
Even though I am a huge fan to both prog and metal, I do hope that they go for a more metal and less prog style with thier new lineup.
I don't think they will ever find a drummer better than portnoy.
i have a few friends who are honestly really great technical drummers; like the kind of musicians who u just know are better than all these bigger ones but just dont know the right people to get the part. it sucks, probably just gonna get replaced by a machine for all we know
